Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant seeking a challenging yet rewarding role with a vibrant organisation in Holborn?
The Accounts Assistant is a key role within the Company’s finance department. The finance team are responsible for maintaining an efficient, organised and accurate finance function for the business and the Accounts Assistant role is responsible for assisting with a variety of day-to-day financial operations, such as sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and basic bookkeeping. Reporting directly into the FD , the successful candidate must be enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner!
Duties include:
- Operate within the standards and guidelines for all IT systems, to include Sage200, ACI, Navigator
- Maintain the Purchase Ledger & complete the purchase ledger month end process
- Post Supplier invoices accurately
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis, request missing documentation from suppliers
To be considered suitable you will need to have 2-3 years experience in the above duties as well as being confident, professional and ability to work under pressure. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated applicant with a can-do attitude who has accounts payable and bank reconciliations experience. Sage200 experience is desirable but not essential. Excellent salary of £30k and benefits package.
