About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing key financial transactions and supporting the wider finance function. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the organisation’s accounting operations, particularly around insurance-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Process insurance-related transactions including premium receipts, claims payments, loss recoveries, and reinsurance outflows.

Manage regular payment cycles, ensuring all disbursements are processed accurately and on time.

Maintain and update the vendor database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.

Respond to internal and external queries related to financial transactions with professionalism and accuracy.

Upload financial documentation to the OnBase system for recordkeeping and audit purposes.

Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with accounting standards.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.

Support the finance team with various ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Key Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.

Solid understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other core PC applications.

Experience with PeopleSoft Financials is advantageous.

Previous experience in the insurance industry is desirable, though not essential.
