Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Our client, a well-established and respected firm of accountants with offices across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, is seeking an Accounts Senior / Semi Senior to strengthen their dynamic team.
The Role
You will play a key role in providing a high-quality service to a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and private individuals. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.

Managing accounts assignments from planning through to completion.

Preparing personal tax returns and assisting with corporation tax compliance.

Liaising directly with clients, providing advice and building long-term relationships.

Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work where appropriate.

Assisting partners and managers with ad-hoc advisory projects.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:

ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.

Experienced in both accounts preparation and personal tax compliance within an accountancy practice.

Confident working directly with clients and managing multiple priorities.

Proficient in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) with good Excel skills.

A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
