We are exclusively managing the recruitment of an Applications Support Team Leader on a fixed term contract working for a prestigious automotive brand.
The contract is for 9 months and is perfect for someone with people management experience in either automotive or financial services/leasing/loans.
This role demands managing the production support with the 3rd party provider of the core banking system to manage defects , understand impacts and prioritise fixes for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 2
- Manage the relationship with the print provider to ensure the correct level of service is delivered and maintained
- Stakeholder Management to provide updates on production issues and changes
- Provide proactive updates on ongoing issues and recommendations for change/improvements
- Creating and managing release and test plans, which align with business requirements and introduce changes seamlessly for business Users.
- Carry out regression testing and manage UAT in conjunction with the business and Test Manager when changes are delivered. Defect management including raising defects, analysis of defects, prioritisation, liaison with external suppliers

- Explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users
- Keep Stakeholders updated with correct level of information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven experience to influence at all levels
- Experience of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes
- ITIL qualification and experience highly desirable
