We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation operating within the automotive sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful system and process improvement initiatives, supporting business-critical projects and delivering change that enhances efficiency, usability, and compliance across the organisation.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting multiple departments by coordinating system solution activities across the full project lifecycle. You will play a key role in delivering system upgrades and enhancements on time and within budget, while ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
You will take ownership of smaller projects end-to-end and lead workstreams on larger programmes, collaborating with stakeholders, external suppliers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are captured, managed, and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and define business requirements for core systems.

Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.

Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, project plans, user stories, and process flows (BPMN).

Manage change requests from initiation through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery.

Liaise between business users, external suppliers, and internal technical teams.

Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies.

Support test planning, carry out functional testing, and assist with UAT.

Manage defects, risks, and issues, ensuring appropriate reporting and resolution.

Provide regular reporting on project and change request progress using tools such as Jira x-ray and Visio.
Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services, automotive, or consultancy environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Strong organisational and planning skills, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Analytical and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Jira, Jira x-ray, and familiarity with document management systems and workflows.
