We are seeking a Consolidation Accountant to assist the CFO of a busy maritime organisation for a 6 month project with the potential to extend.
The Consolidation Accountant role will be a qualified accountant who will work closely with the CFO working on a Group Reporting Consolidation system. This role will be a key member of the team assisting in the transition top a new consolidation of multi-currency entities.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements which form the basis for Group internal and external reporting.
- Deliver Group consolidation reports for half year and year end financial reporting purposes.
- Consolidation of multi-currency entities
- Produce Group monthly flash results, management accounts , forecasts and budgets
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Good working knowledge of requirements under IFRS and local GAAPs. You will have excellent communication skills and integrity and assertiveness when dealing with complex /business critical issues.
The role is inside IR35 and the successful candidate will be motivated to work in a fast-paced environment , to move things forward , to meet stringent timelines and to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
