We are looking for an EA/Business Manager to support the Operations Director and work aside the Compliance team and Senior Stakeholders within a Global Financial Services company in Bracknell. An interesting and varied role providing executive level support, event management, preparing agendas and taking minutes at meetings and acting as the liaison point with the FCA to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. A brand new opportunity and pivotal role providing support to the Senior Management Team which requires excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
The Role
- Ensuring clear understanding of governance structure across the organisation, allowing members to understand their roles
- Developing and updating terms of reference and operating procedures
- Assisting the chair in developing agendas, collecting and circulating papers, and preparing and circulating minutes
- Coordinating inputs for discussion papers, including seeking input from external stakeholders
- Implementing resolutions, directives, or actions as required and prepare communications for committee members and stakeholders across the wider business
- Establishing and maintaining document management systems
- Act as the liaison with the FCA ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensuring all committee outputs align with FCA regulatory requirements and organisational standards
- Overall responsibility for planning and attending corporate events, organising and coordinating external committee meetings.
The Person
- Profession and commercially astute with excellent planning and organisation skills
- Ambitious and career focused
- A good understanding of current FCA regulatory legislation and how it affects a regulated business
- Experience of collaborating with Senior Management and the confidence to challenge and question
- Relevant experience as a Senior EA, Executive Support Lead or Business Support Manager ideally from within an FCA regulated industry
- Advanced MS office skills
- High level of Integrity and experience of handling confidential information
