Are you a NEBOSH and/or EurOSHM qualified Environmental Health & Safety Manager? Do you have experience working in a corporate Global business? Do you understand Environmental Health &Safety regulations applicable to operations and sites within the UK and EU?
We are looking for a very professional and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our client based in Maidenhead. Our client is a multi-location, matrix structured organisation, so prior experience within a similar environment would be advantageous.
As the EHS Manager, you will have responsibility for all issues concerning EHS management across all Business Areas and Functions across the UK, Ireland, Israel, UAE and South Africa and be responsible for strategic and operational planning and management of all EHS activities.
In this role you will be;
- Identifying ways to mitigate the EH&S risks
- Implementing corporate EH&S department strategies, policies, education and training within the UK;
- Distinguishing EH&S exposures and recommending action on them.
- Providing accurate and timely reports on the Corporate EH&S programme metrics
- Ensure that all the EH&S programmes are compliant with local legal obligations
- The designated person within the UK’s operation (as per statutory legislation) and provide guidance to staff across all UK client sites and offices
What you’ll bring:
To be successful in this role, we’d like you to hold a NEBOSH General or EurOSHM qualification and of course have solid Health & Safety regulations and Environmental experience.
An excellent communicator who is credible and comfortable dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders, you will have a high level of gravitas and engagement, delivering your work in an intelligent, collaborative, and enthusiastic manner.
You’ll need to be driven, self-motivated and dynamic, able to produce detailed and accurate reports and meet deadlines on a regular basis
