Are you an experienced ER Manager looking to take on a new challenge? Are you adept with working with high volumes of ER related queries in a fast-paced environment? As an Employee Relations Manager, you will be acting as the central point for their teams, third party Employment Law consultants, solicitors, and union representatives in a fast paced environment. This role manages a small ER team within the business.
You will be crucial in ensuring all ER matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements. You will also be supporting the ER and Policy Development Manager and the external solicitors with the management of Employment Tribunals claims as required.
Implementing the ER strategy and initiatives is going to be the focus of this role in order to ensure the ER team meet objectives within the business. You will also be preparing employment tribunal responses and evidence bundles and work with the legal team to ensure financial and legal risk minimised.
In order to fully embrace the ER Strategy within the business, you will need to upskill and develop the capacity of line managers to manage ER problems locally, developing management styles to foster positive working relationships with employees, minimising the occurrence of line management problems and issues and fostering a positive climate for ER.
