Finance Manager - Maidenhead - £40,000 - £50,000
A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Manager with our exciting, market leading client who are expanding rapidly within the Home Décor retail sector. If you are an experienced Finance Manager within the SME arena and are looking to join a friendly team where you will have exposure and accountability with senior management, this is for you.
You will be:
- Responsibility for the day-to-day finance function
- Ensuring month-end reconciliations and reporting are completed in a timely fashion
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Responsibility for P&L and Balance sheet
- Working closely with management to share reports and analyse findings
- Reviewing bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
- Submission and reconciliation of Payroll
- Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
- VAT, PAYE, P11D, Companies House and ONS submissions
- Reporting on department KPI's
You must have:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT qualified, or part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Solid experience in SME finance
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (including V lookups and pivot tables)
- A can-do attitude and ability to work independently and to support an assistant
- Xero experience is preferred
