Financial Controller

Established Maidenhead business is looking for a number 2 in their finance team. Working closely with the Head of Finance this is a broad and varied role that will include : 

• Financial Management: 

  • Budgeting, and forecasting .
  • Ensuring accurate financial records and accounts are maintained.
  • Managing cash flow, payroll, and all other financial transactions.

• Accounting and Reporting:

  • Preparing financial statements, management reports, and analysis for the senior leadership team and governing body.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Handling audits and liaising with external auditors.

• Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

  • Working with leadership to develop and manage annual budgets.
  • Monitoring expenditure against the budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness

To succeed in the role you must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 3 years PQE. You will have a sound knowledge of financial reporting, management accounts and forecasting. Excellent interpersonal skills will also be necessary to build solid stakeholder relationships.
