About the Role
We’re supporting a fast-growing, international distribution group in their search for a talented Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager. This senior technical role will own the full group consolidation process and act as the bridge between current BAU reporting and future systems transformation. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you’ll combine strong technical accounting and consolidation skills with commercial insight and confident stakeholder management across a global finance function.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver the full Group consolidation of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow across multiple international entities and currencies.

Manage intercompany eliminations, FX translation and reconciliations.

Review and challenge subsidiary results and commentary, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all submissions.

Prepare and present consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for senior management and the Board.

Lead working capital analysis, linking balance sheet movements to cash flow and driving actionable insights.

Support group budgeting and forecasting cycles – designing templates, coordinating local inputs, and producing group-level outputs.

Partner with local controllers to improve processes, strengthen controls, and deliver consistent reporting standards.

Provide technical accounting support on key areas such as provisions, stock, and revenue recognition.

Contribute to system improvement and migration projects (Epicor/OneStream), ensuring smooth data transition and reporting accuracy.

Mentor and oversee a junior analyst while remaining hands-on in consolidation delivery.
About You

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) - ideally trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm with exposure to multi-entity, international groups.

Proven track record of delivering end-to-end consolidations (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

Strong technical grounding in IFRS and group accounting principles.

Confident working across multi-currency environments and managing complex intercompany positions.

Excel expert with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

BI literate – experience with Power BI or similar tools advantageous.

Exposure to HFM or equivalent legacy consolidation systems; experience with Epicor or OneStream migration highly desirable.

A clear communicator, comfortable challenging senior finance stakeholders and providing assurance on group results.

Adaptable and hands-on, with a collaborative approach and a genuine interest in process improvement.
