Job Title: Marketing Assistant - £30K - Oxfordshire

Job Overview
The Marketing Assistant supports the delivery of high quality marketing, communications and digital activity across the organisation. The role focuses on producing clear, professional content, supporting digital campaigns and maintaining client facing platforms, particularly Active Steward, a key customer interface. The role helps ensure the organisation’s digital presence is accurate, engaging and aligned with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Content and Copywriting

Create and update content for social media, email campaigns, website pages and marketing materials.

Write clear and engaging copy for LinkedIn posts, adverts and campaigns.

Review and improve client and registrant facing content on Active Steward to ensure clarity, accuracy and a high quality user experience.

Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Digital Marketing and Campaign Support

Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn and the company website.

Maintain website pages, blog posts and service updates, applying basic SEO including metadata and alt text.

Support digital campaigns, email distribution and simple performance reporting.

Assist with communications related to Active Steward activity as usage increases.
Coordination and Administration

Support campaign delivery, asset management and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.

Assist with event planning and marketing administration.

Maintain the CRM system HubSpot, asset libraries and competitor monitoring.
Quality and Development

Work in line with the Penman Consulting Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements.

Contribute to the ongoing development and quality of Active Steward.

Take responsibility for maintaining and developing professional standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential
-
Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.

Confidence using digital platforms including CMS, CRM, social media and email tools.

Basic SEO knowledge.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Two to three years’ experience in digital marketing, content or a related role.
Desirable
Qualifications and Eligibility
Essential

Degree in marketing, communications, digital media, English or a related subject.

Right to work in the UK.

Two days on site per week.
