Are you a dynamic and experienced Migration Test Analyst seeking an exciting 6 month contract with a global manufacturing organisation?
We are exclusively recruiting for a Migration Test Analyst whose role will play a key part in the planning and testing of core systems to ensure there is a consistent approach to testing across the business. The smooth delivery of system upgrades and enhancements, on time and on budget is a key objective of the IT Team in improving the overall efficiency, effectiveness of the business and usability of the system.
Key Responsibilities
You will be assisting the Test Manager, providing testing support for business and system changes including documenting results and achievement against the test plans and raising defects as appropriate throughout the test cycle.
Duties:
- Review and propose changes to requirements to ensure they are testable
- Assist in the creation and management of test plans
- Creation of test cases
- Reviewing test cases developed by other testers
- Assist with test data creation and other test cycle set-up activities
- Execution of test cases, capture of relevant test evidence
- Raising, reviewing, and retesting of defects
- Promote testing best practice and continuous improvement
- Assist with test reporting
Profile
A logical and structured personality with an attention to detail to ensure that business testing requirements are correctly interpreted and tested throughout the project lifecycle to ensure objectives are achieved.
3 years manual functional testing experience
Able to create test scripts and test data from business requirements documentation
Strong experience of Microsoft Office and Test Director or Quality Centre is essential
Automation experience is desirable though not essential
Preferably ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certified
Financial Services background is advantageous but not essential. PAYE or Umbrella company only. As well as a competitive day rate, benefits include parking and exceptional working environment and flexible working week. This role is inside IR35 and is paid via an umbrella company - £300 per day.
