A newly created role for a career driven “People Director” to join an industry leading UK Specialist Software Company as they embrace their exciting journey ahead of growth and corporate acquisitions.
So, we are looking for an ambitious, highly energetic and dynamic People Director to lead and develop the existing HR team whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business to achieve their goals.
Bringing your HR and People experience from the Technology industry, you will need to be instantly credible, commercially astute, pro-active and confident to challenge and influence decision making at a senior level.
This is an opportunity as People Director to ensure that there is a clear connection between the people and the strategic vision, company objectives and goals whilst encompassing the core values of the business.
Key responsibilities to include;
- Ensuring the people strategy creates the appropriate organisational culture
- Lead the HR and People team to plan and ensure all HR activities are delivered to high standard in line with best practice and legislation
- Maintain and share awareness of external competitor benchmarks and trends
- Define and deliver HR transformation strategy and change programme
- Develop and roll out policies, process and procedures to support future learning and development in lien with company strategy and growth plans
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to achieve company goals and strategy relating to staffing, retention, learning and development and recruitment
- Constantly look at ways to improve employee engagement and development
We are looking for top talent, someone who oozes personality, is decisive and innovative but also customer focussed and collaborative. You should be of graduate calibre, CIPD qualified and instantly able to gain credibility, make a strong impact and have the gravitas and ability to help drive the change that is needed across the business through your clear strategy, innovation and direction.
You will be an advisory on all HR and People matters to the CIO and other board members. Coming from the Tech industry, you will also have had some valuable exposure to acquisitions and private equity.
