Procurement Manager - IT Indirect (Software and Hardware)
Here at Signet Resources, we are looking for an IT indirect Procurement Manager to join a large automotive business based in Bracknell. As an IT Procurement Manager, you’ll be working with the wider team in the newly developed Indirect Procurement & Strategy Sourcing Department.
This is an exciting role as you’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and implementing the IT Software across the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver major procurement projects in EUC, Infrastructure, Connected Vehicles, SaaS and PaaS as well as major outsourced contracts
- Adhere to procurement governance, gain management approval and ensure department is fully promoted within organisation
- Responsible for leading strategic projects, plus any related contract discussion and amendments in conjunction with the Legal team.
- Responsible for leading and structuring the RFx process that suits the business needs and requirements whilst fulfilling our governance and helping to get best value for the business.
- Lead key negotiations that reflect ongoing cost and process efficiencies that drive in long-term benefit to the organisation
- Having a leading role in supporting stakeholders in service reviews, contracts, supplier performance management and contract management
- Develop an environment of continuous improvement where the team can proactively challenge the status quo and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and support strategic direction and present to management, with a recommended proposal, supplier sourcing decisions and implementing plans
This role will see candidates dealing with a wide range of stakeholders across the business including the Legal team, the wider procurement team and the Deputy General Manager of Infrastructure among others. We are therefore looking for someone who has had similar exposure in their current role and proven experience of stakeholder management.
